Privacy Policy

Ravi Personal Tools is a personal, single-user set of command-line utilities and Model Context Protocol servers written and operated by Ravi Desu. It is not a product, not a service, and has no users other than its author.

What it accesses

With the author's explicit Google consent, it accesses that Google Account's own Google Drive, Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Photos data, for the sole purpose of the author reading and organising his own data on his own computers.

What it does with data

• Processing happens locally, on hardware owned by the author.
• Some of these tools are Model Context Protocol servers used with an AI coding assistant. When the author opens a document, message or file through one of them, that content is sent to the assistant's provider (Anthropic) as part of the request, under that provider's own terms. This happens only for items the author explicitly opens, and only at his direction.
• Apart from Google's APIs and the AI provider described above, data is not transmitted to any third party.
• Data is not sold, published, or used for advertising, analytics or profiling.
• No data is collected from anyone other than the author, because no one else uses it.

Credentials

OAuth tokens are stored on the author's local filesystem with owner-only permissions. They are never transmitted anywhere except to Google's token endpoints.

Retention

Nothing is retained on any server, because there is no server. Locally cached files persist only on the author's machines and are deleted at his discretion.
